Rafael Leao is likely to leave AC Milan during the summer window and there are two clubs above all that stand out as being interested, a report claims.
HITC report that Leao is ‘ready to pursue a move away’ from Milan once the season ends and he will not be short of offers, given that there are a number of teams who continue to be linked with him.
Chelsea are ‘long-term admirers’ of the Portuguese winger having been mentioned as suitors in each of the last two summer windows, while Barcelona have scouted him over the last 12 months and PSG are keen on him as well.
PSG are expecting to lose Kylian Mbappe in the summer so they must replace him, and sporting director Luis Campos was the one who brought Leao to France with Lille back in 2018.
However, Leao could ‘potentially be part of Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling succession plan’ because the report claims that the English winger will be made available in the summer and thus a new left winger would be sought.
Leao has a €175m release clause in his contract which he renewed until 2028 last year, so the Rossoneri management could point to if any club decide to make their interest more concrete.
