Olivier Giroud and Theo Hernandez are expected to be at the centre of the action when the Rossoneri take on Napoli tomorrow, but for two very different reasons.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below), the two players seem to have reacted very differently to playing against Napoli for Milan over the past few years.
For Giroud, Napoli are one of his favoured opponents. The Frenchman has played against them nine times, which is more than any other team except for Inter, whom he has also faced nine times.
Across those nine games, he has scored six goals, one of which actually came when he was playing for Premier League side Arsenal.
So far this season, he has been involved in 19 goals, so he is aiming to hit the 20 mark when Milan take on the Serie A champions this weekend.
As for Hernandez, he has a different sort of record against Napoli, and it seems they are an opponent that gets under his skin.
He has received five yellow cards in games against Napoli, more than against any other team. He is sure to have a great game at left-back, but will have to be careful to ensure one of those yellows does not become a red.
