There were some great scenes under the Curva Sud last night as the AC Milan players celebrated following their 3-0 win against Rennes in the Europa League.
As the team congregated under the Curva, the famous ‘Forza Diavolo alè’ chant started over the megaphone and while the likes of Rafael Leao and Ismael Bennacer clapped along, two players above all stood out.
Yacine Adli, who came off the bench, and Matteo Gabbia, who had another solid performance, actually seemed to lead the chant, knowing every word.
A reminder of the lyrics for the chant:
Forza Diavolo alè (go diavolo ale)
Vivo solo per te (I live only for you)
Io non ti lascerò (I will not leave you)
Sempre con te saró (I will always be with you)
E non importa se (And it doesn’t matter if)
Io finirò nei guai (I get in trouble)
Unico amore sei (you’re my only love)
Non ti ho tradito mai (I’ll never betray you)
