AC Milan will sign a new central defender in the summer and there are a couple of different routes that the management could go down, a report claims.
According to what is being reported by Niccolo Ceccarini of TMW, the main efforts in the summer will go towards signing a new striker and another central defender to join the current group, especially given that Simon Kjaer is expected to leave.
Alessandro Buongiorno remains the ‘big dream’ but he will cost a lot and thus the Rossoneri are active on other fronts, including some free transfer opportunities as well.
The first name on the list remains that of Lloyd Kelly from Bournemouth, who Milan already tried to bring to Italy in the winter mercato without succeeding given the resistance of the English club, who did not want to lose such an important player during the season.
The Rossoneri directors remains active on the Kelly front but also have an alternative: Tosin Adarabioyo of Fulham. He will be free to sign for another club at the end of the season because his deal expires.
In short, two profiles to monitor with particular attention who could arrive for free, and that thus means funds can be diverted to other areas.
