AC Milan have held talks with agent Jorge Mendes over a potential deal for Lyon winger Bradley Barcola, according to a report.
According to a report from Calciomercato.com, the Milan management are looking for a new starter-level right winger and during the last few days they made an attempt for Bradley Barcola of Lyon.
Geoffrey Moncada and Giorgio Furlani have in fact had direct talks with Jorge Mendes – who is also Rafael Leao’s agent – regarding the Franco-Togolese winger.
They asked for information on his situation and his asking price, learning that Lyon value him at €45-50m after a season with 35 appearances, 7 goals and 10 assists that has attracted the interest of Paris Saint-Germain.
Barcola on a purely technical level is the favoured option for the right flank, even moreso than Samuel Chukwueze who still remains the No.1 option in terms of feasibility.
Negotiations have begun with Villarreal, but there is still a big distance between the request for €35m from the LaLiga side and the offer of €30m including bonuses.
