AC Milan have got Vangelis Pavlidis on their list of targets for the centre-forward role but it seems to be too complicated to close on deadline day, reports claim.
After the arrival of Mehdi Taremi fell through and Lorenzo Colombo’s now imminent move to Monza on loan, Milan are on the hunt for a new centre-forward to give to Stefano Pioli who can alternate with Olivier Giroud.
MilanNews report that among the many names that are filtering out in these hours is Vangelis Pavlidis of AZ Alkmaar, but this idea is very complicated due to the timing.
Meanwhile, La Gazzetta dello Sport write that Pavlidis is one of the names on Milan’s list, and he was already linked earlier in the summer.
Milan are big admirers but AZ Alkmaar do not want to sell him so late in the window unless an irrefutable offer came in, so it remains ‘very difficult’. He is the current top scorer in the Eredivisie with three goals in two games.
