AC Milan are plotting a move for Monza midfielder Andrea Colpani as they attempt to ensure registration rules do not become a problem next season, a report claims.
As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, Milan are aware that they could struggle to fulfil the homegrown section of the squad registration for Serie A next season.
Right now, Mattia Caldara is the key player in this regard and registration was the main reason behind him staying at the club in the summer.
With him out of contract in June 2024 and Alessandro Florenzi also set to leave the club unless a new deal is agreed, Milan could do with signing players trained in Italian youth systems.
One of the best examples currently within Serie A is Monza’s Colpani, who has enjoyed a superb start to the season. Colpani has four goals from the first eight games and he has been scoring goals of a very high quality.
