AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is awaiting further news on Davide Calabria after he went off injured during the game against Juventus.
The issue occurred during the first real attempt of the game on 20 minutes as Federico Chiesa cut inside past Calabria and shot into the arms of Maignan, but the Milan defender then dropped to the floor clearly in pain.
He immediately requested a substitution and was holding his thigh, with Alessandro Florenzi coming on to replace him before he eventually moved over to the left side when Alexis Saelemaekers came on.
According to the latest from our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, Calabria suffered a muscle strain in his right thigh and his condition will be evaluated in the next few days, implying he will not be risked for the Barcelona game.
However, it is worth mentioning that Stefano Pioli said in his post-match comments that Calabria thought it was just fatigue and that he came off just in time to prevent further damage.
