Rafael Leao and AC Milan are one step away from committing to each other for a significant time. In fact, they are on the home stretch for the renewal and the deal should be announced next week.
As our correspondent Lorenzo Lepore has learned, only the signature is missing for Rafael Leao’s renewal and the announcement could arrive next week, possibly already on Tuesday. It would be a way for Milan to head into the first leg against Inter with a huge boost.
The parties have reached an agreement at €7m plus €2m in bonuses per year, and there will also be a few other fees involved in the deal. It’s a significant effort from the Rossoneri and the length of the contract should be between three to five years.
Leao was forced to leave the game against Lazio after just 11 minutes due to an injury scare, feeling a sharp pain in his groin. However, as it turns out, it was just a precaution and it’s nothing serious. The winger feels good now and just didn’t want to risk anything ahead of the big game against Inter.
