AC Milan have managed to secure a whopping €10.5 million from their Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night, a report claims.
As has been reported by Milan News, the Rossoneri earned the bulk of this money from the spectators who paid to go and watch the game at San Siro.
There were 75,649 fans at the game as it was a sell-out, and that brought in the remarkable figure of €7,719,247. The fans certainly made themselves heard and were a big part of Milan winning the game 2-1.
On top of that figure, there is the €2.8m that any team receives when they win a Champions League group stage game this season, something Milan were yet to have done despite it being Matchday 4.
It shows the extra incentives that are in place to win the next two group games. If Milan can beat Borussia Dortmund at San Siro, their fate will be in their own hands against Newcastle in the final game.
