Journalist Tobi Altschaffl has explained that AC Milan are a genuine possibility for Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch but there are other possibilities.
Speaking on the Twitch channel of TV Play (via Milan News), the Bild journalist was very clear about how many options there are available to the Dutch midfielder who has been linked with the Rossoneri.
He confirmed that the player has asked to leave Bayern Munich on loan after just one year at the club after signing from Ajax, but a decision is not imminent and Milan certainly do not have a clear run at him.
“Gravenberch has asked to leave on loan, Bayern are considering this hypothesis but will only decide later. AC Milan is a possibility but the lure of the Premier League is very strong,” Altschaffl said.
Now that Milan look set to secure the signing of Tijjani Reijnders, the second midfield signing of the summer, it is possible that Milan will focus their efforts elsewhere rather than on another midfielder.
Gravenberch arrived at Bayern Munich as one of Europe’s most exciting midfielders but he struggled for game time in the Bundesliga.
