Manchester City defender Kyle Walker is now in advanced negotiations with Bayern Munich to join the German champions, despite the serious interest from AC Milan in recent weeks.
As has been reported by Sky Sports Deutschland (via Calciomercato), the English defender is much more keen on heading to Germany rather than Italy.
It always seemed like an ambitious move from Milan given the wages that a player like Walker would command, and it seems the move will not transpire.
Walker has been one of the best right backs in the world for many years at Man City but it seems that Pep Guardiola has little room for him anymore. Walker was left out of the Champions League final starting eleven against Inter and the fact he never came on has reportedly sped up his possible departure.
There has also been interest in him and Riyad Mahrez from the Saudi Pro League recently, but moves in Europe are more likely.
