Chelsea are lining up Bayern Munich forward Serge Gnabry as the replacement for AC Milan target Hakim Ziyech, a report claims.
As has been reported by The Times in the UK, the Premier League are preparing for the eventuality that Milan do manage to secure a loan deal for Moroccan winger Ziyech this summer.
Thomas Tuchel’s side want to bring in Gnabry from Bayern Munich who has one year left on his contract. This is because Ziyech is close to joining Stefano Pioli’s side.
Chelsea and Milan are actually in a stalemate right now over the loan formula but it is believed that securing the deal for Gnabry will allow Chelsea to be more lenient with the Rossoneri in Ziyech negotiations.
Milan would like the Ziyech deal to be a dry loan, perhaps with an option to buy. Chelsea want there to be an obligation to buy at the end of the deal.
