AC Milan are working ahead of the summer transfer window to try and get some targets lined up, with Folarin Balogun seemingly the man chosen for the attack.
According to Calciomercato.com, there are a number of different profiles on Milan’s list of targets with a sizeable portion of the summer budget (€50m plus sales) to be allocated to a new centre-forward.
It seems Balogun is the favourite. The Arsenal loanee has scored 20 goals in Ligue 1 with Stade de Reims and he is the first under-21 player to do so in the top five European leagues. The Gunners do not consider him non-transferable and are ready to listen to offers.
Talks with Balogun’s agent are planned at the end of the season but there are two obstacles to overcome. The first is competition from foreign clubs, with RB Leipzig in the front row, and the second is that the London club are expected to ask for over €30m to sell.
£30 seems like a steal.
The best option in my opinion. Scamacca never scored as many goals in a season and Balogun is more athletic and stronger.
Have Balogun at Milan is like having 2 Leao with 1 on the wing and then the other at CF. The crazy thing is that Milan counter attacking will be so fast and crazy because both can interchange their positions which would make it harder for defenders to mark them since Balogun can play as winger.
Balogun is the best option in my opinion and Milan must sign him.
Why would Arsenal sell him? They have plenty of money and will want to strengthen their squad and in particular their striker department.
Also he probably prefers to play in England as it’s where he was brought up and came through the youth ranks
This seems like click bait news
Arsenal want to sell him because they already have gabriel jesus, eddy nketiah . And it seems balogun dont want become third choice striker in arsenal . Of course balogun will asking AC Milan or other club that want to buy him for more playing time . It is bad for young player become third choice striker, that 3rd choice only for veteran striker with cheap salary
