AC Milan are on the lookout for a new centre-forward and they have Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez on their list as he continues to score.
According to Calciomercato.com, both Milan and their rivals Inter have put Gimenez in their sights for the future and he seemingly has no intention of stopping scoring.
Even today, in his Feyenoord’s 4-0 win against Vitesse, the Mexican striker (who has an Italian passport) netted once again, which is his 13th of the season (plus three assists, in nine Eredivisie games).
Given his immense scoring record there could well be quite a lot of competition to land Gimenez, especially considering the fact that he also scored 15 league goals last season to fire Feyenoord to the title.
Milan are looking for a new centre-forward given that Olivier Giroud is now 37 years of age and is on an expiring contract, while Luka Jovic is yet to convince and Noah Okafor is seen as more of a winger.
