Inter are trying to wrestle themselves back into the race to sign Marcus Thuram despite rumours of his AC Milan move being imminent, a report claims.
Calciomercato.com recall how Inter seemed very interested in signing Thuram and even flew to Qatar to meet the player and agents at the World Cup with France, but then they seemed to go quiet.
Milan then registered a strong interest in Thuram and are ‘one bend from the finish line’. However, there continues to be some uncertainty about where he will go after leaving Borussia Mönchengladbach on a free.
The Rossoneri pushed hard over the past few weeks, offering a five-year contract worth €5m net per season which the 25-year-old never refused and which he was about to accept.
However, Inter have appeared in the rear-view mirror and are trying hard to win the race. Edin Dzeko’s departure has in fact freed up the slot for a signing and now the Nerazzurri can offer a slightly higher salary and more in commissions too.
The ball goes back to Thuram himself. Milan rightly feel they have the advantage, Inter won’t let go and hope for a last-minute overtaking, but the striker will be the one to choose between two different projects.
So basically they sold Tonali to Newcastle just to tell them to back of Thuram, We all know Newcastle been after him since march/april this year.
Now when they gave Tonali away they will lose Thuram to the worse possible side INTER.
Mind you Thuram will be a bigger flop than CDK!! 🙂

Tonali is gone, medical imminent, but I just pray the management knows wat dey are doing, because I’m so much into dis team dat I can’t think of leaving Milan for another club as a fan.

Why do Thuram choose Milan?

Sacking Maldini, selling tonali. No signings yet or we are sure yet could bring some signings to fight for next season.
With Dzeko/lukaku leaving Inter, they also have a cf role available to offer first team place.
They can even pay much better salary than us.
Work of 3 or 4 years is through the drain..money is not enough players need to come too..great all the people who are saying we are making money by selling tonali..but no one is coming in

Why would he choose us over Inter? Inter have a system, they have a solid coach, they smoked us last year 4 times and they still have ambition. The negative of inter is they are in debt? Well so is every club out there. Sucks but inter is the more appealing project.
