There are two selection doubts for AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli to resolve ahead of Sunday afternoon’s game against Monza at San Siro, a journalist has claimed.
The Milan squad returned to training at Milanello today having been given Thursday off following the comeback win against Newcastle United in England on Wednesday night. Preparations for the visit of Monza therefore got underway, with tomorrow being the final session on the eve of the game.
According to Calciomercato.com’s Daniele Longo, there are a couple of selection doubts that Pioli will ponder between today and tomorrow, with the first being in midfield where Ismael Bennacer is pushing Yunus Musah for a spot in the trio.
The other is in attack, with Luka Jovic and Olivier Giroud competing for the striker spot. The Frenchman got the nod in the last two games, but the Serbian did very well off the bench against both Atalanta and Newcastle.
