Curva Sud poke fun at Inter with display: ‘Circus Internazionale

The Curva Sud couldn’t resist a chance to have a dig at their city rivals after their Champions League final defeat against Manchester City with their pre-derby display.

Inter got the better of Milan in the semi-finals but – unlike when the Rossoneri beat the Nerazzurri in 2003 – they were unable to go on and finish the job in Turkey.

Just before kick-off, the Curva revealed a display with the banner ‘Circus Internazionale’, poking fun at their defeat in June.

    1. Not one bit.

      Hopefully we can mount some sort of a come back but everytime they cut to Pioli he looks flustered, panicked and a touch lost.

      1. That’s because he is a mid-table coach who got very lucky one time in his life to win a single Scudetto. He has no clue how to attack even when he has plenty of options. His subs are always too late as well.

  3. Kjaer is so slow, he’s finished. Krunic is straight trash, slows down play and passes backwards, offers nothing. This is what happens when you don’t upgrade the regista. Our offense has done nothing either. I hate inter so much…

      1. Theo was partly at fault for the first, he’s a diver and always goes down too easily and doesn’t play to the whistle and he gave away a stupid penalty.

      No thing is just obvious, Tomori’ absence is outrightly obvious.

      And it’s high time we talk straight at Leao’ face, he has not done anything meaningful so far. Likewise Pulisic.

      We need a mobile 9, very important. Giroud is a poacher and nothing more but, need an extra attribute from our 9 in which Giroud won’t offer.

      RLC Krunic and Tijjani need to communicate more.

      Tomori is a big factor in our defense.

  4. Many players changed but not that much change on the outcome. Looks like we fall to the same trap all over again. Inverting Calabria to the middle makes our right side even more prone that it already is.

  6. This might be a much needed reality check for us, as well as for Pioli. He needs to start playing the players we have invested heavily in. We make Inter look like Man City. Shameless.

    1. Inter a level above us they dominated against man city but got unlucky,if they had thuram instead of lakaka they would have won it but there’s no excuse for not scoring like 5 games ina row

      1. Until we get a new coach, we will keep getting thrashed by Inter. Pioli doesn’t like trying out new players. 5 in a row for Inter. Atleast this time we got a goal unlike last 4 games.

  17. RLC was okay. The other two were crap. Reijnders gets a pass because he came from a weak league. Krunic shouldn’t be starting for a team like Milan.

  18. The biggest issue between the scudetto season, last year and this year is the strength of our midfield defensively. We never replaced Kessie and then sold Tonali. They were HUGE links covering our stellar defense that season.

    It really shows in this game.

  19. Very painful, Frattesi, Thuram canceled his move to Milan and now it’s a big disaster. Why can Inter get free players but they are better than us?
