AC Milan are incredibly keen on adding Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy to the squad in January in a bid to score more goals, but there are other targets who could be pursued.
As has been reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, the 27-year-old Guirassy is the player Milan are most set on signing in January for the attack, but it is a deal that requires some financial commitment.
There is a release clause in Guirassy’s contract with the Bundesliga high-flyers which is €17 million, a figure that is not impossible to reach.
The issue is reaching an agreement on wages with the player who has netted 17 league goals already this season. He wants between €4.5-5 million per year, which would make him one of the top earners in the squad.
Were this deal not to materialise, there are other players that Milan are watching closely. Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri is keen on a move away from the La Liga strugglers, whilst the 23-year-old Akor Adams is still impression at Montpellier.
En-Nesyri has still managed to grab five league goals this season despite Sevilla’s struggles, whilst Adams is on seven in Ligue 1.
Guirassy is the most prolific of the trio and would be Milan’s first choice for the role.
Anyone but Nesyri. Don’t want someone who is worse than what we lready have.
nobody and we play Jović and colombo next season
What’s the point of having 3 strikers if we can’t bring the ball to the front? We need a new midfielder and a new coach.
EEEXACTLY!!! A new striker is the last thing we need. Get us a new coach (priority no.1), 2 CBS, a creative midfielder and a LB.
Then, if money is left, get a new striker. (Not going to happen).
