AC Milan are looking to strengthen their defence and attack with a number of different names targeted both domestically and abroad, a report claims.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, central defender Alessandro Marcandalli is attracting Milan’s interest with his impressive performances for Reggiana (on loan from Genoa), while Akor Adams – a striker playing at Montpellier – is also earning rave reviews.
Akor Adams has been one of the breakout players in Ligue 1 this season with seven goals scored in 11 appearances. Last season the Nigerian striker played for Lillestrøm SK, a team in the Eliteserien in Norway, where he scored 15 goals in 15 games.
Marcandalli is one of the defenders who has stood out most in Serie B this season. Having come through Genoa’s youth team, the Italian centre-back of Nigerian origin is now starting for Reggiana, having made 12 starts under head coach Alessandro Nesta.
Also on the centre-back list are Lloyd Kelly of Bournemouth (for June) and Radu Dragusin of Genoa, as well as Finn van Breemen of Basel.
Adams ftw. No brainer he wil go the path of boniface. So explode in a bigger club
