AC Milan failed to extend their run on Saturday evening after missing two penalties against Bologna. It was a very disappointing evening, in other words, and this was reflected in the newspapers this morning.
Despite the penalty misses, Milan were heading for all three points after Ruben Loftus-Cheek scored his second goal late in the game. However, Bologna were then awarded a penalty in injury time and didn’t make any mistakes with theirs.
The Rossoneri largely have themselves to blame, in other words, and it’s clear that they will need a penalty session at Milanello next week.
