AC Milan will face Monza on Saturday evening and it will be yet another special game for the legendary Rossoneri duo Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani. The latter has admitted that he will cheer for both sides.
Berlusconi and Galliani spent 31 years running the show at Milan and they were indeed very successful. Just like the reverse fixture back in October, this will thus be a special game for the two and also for the Rossoneri fans.
Speaking to Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews, Galliani shared his thoughts on the upcoming game. He admitted that even though he’s now in charge of Monza, 31 years of your life simply cannot be erased.
“My heart is divided in half. Monza is the team of my city, but 31 years of Milan cannot be erased. They will always remain in my heart. On Saturday, the emotions will be the same. It’s a dream to have a game like this. On Saturday, Berlusconi will also be at the stadium. He promised he will be there. The president, like me, always says ‘we’ when he talks about Milan. It will be ‘us’ against ‘us’. I will remain in religious silence on Saturday, I won’t move a muscle if Monza score, nor if Milan do.”
The game is scheduled for 18:00 CET on Saturday and following the wins against Torino and Tottenham, Milan will be looking to make it 3/3. After a rough start to 2023, it would be just what the Rossoneri need to fully bounce back.
You need to tell your Monza boys that 3 points for Milan is something that Milan must have…
🤣🤣 I believe we will win ❤️🖤
