AC Milan will take on Frosinone this evening and after the draw against Bologna, Stefano Pioli wants a response from his team. Especially from the attack, which is a department with an uncertain future due to Olivier Giroud and two men on a mission.
Giroud missed a penalty last time out and it could be three games without a goal from him tonight, which would be far from ideal. Meanwhile, the likes of Luka Jovic and Noah Okafor are both eager to prove themselves off the bench.
As highlighted in today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (see featured image), the future of the attacking department is rather uncertain. Giroud has admitted that he could leave the club in the summer, while Milan are expected to spend a lot of money on a new star striker.
Furthermore, the Rossoneri are yet to decide on the future of Luka Jovic, who has scored 6 goals in all competitions. One goal every 119 minutes, which is better than Giroud at 179 minutes, but the Serbian also struggled a lot at the start of the season.
In addition to Jovic, Okafor is another man on a mission and he wants to play consistently after a few injury setbacks. The Swiss international has 4 goals in the league, scoring once every 104 minutes, and Milan are convinced that he could be a very important player in the future.
Therefore, taking a look at Milan’s attack and more specifically the No.9 role today, Okafor is the only certainty for next season. But Giroud still has the option to remain, just as Jovic could convince the management with a good tally in the second half of the season.
Geroud is getting old and perhaps has being not effective at all so Acmilan needs to focus on Okafor and jovic they are perfect for striker what we need now is attacking midfielders then wingers we don’t need striker Okafor or jovic are perfect Acmilan entities
