There is a lack of movement between AC Milan and Werder Bremen for the sale of Fode Ballo-Toure and there is a chance he will stay at the club this summer, a report claims.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), the two clubs are still yet to come to a definitive agreement for the Senegalese defender.
It has been clear for almost the entire summer that Ballo-Toure will be leaving the Rossoneri due to him no longer being a part of Stefano Pioli’s project.
Many clubs such as Fulham and Bologna seemed interested in signing him but those moves did not materialise.
Werder Bremen then became the most likely destination but that move has now seemed to go cold. He is not expected to play any part for Milan this season so it is certainly in his interest to find a move.
Milan will not sign a player to replace him, instead using youngster Davide Bartesaghi.
Hopefully this doesn’t turn into another Castillejo departure… FFS!
