AC Milan retain an interest in signing Nicolo Zaniolo but a release clause in his Galatasaray contract could make things difficult, a report claims.
Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below) reports that the move to Turkey seems to have done Zaniolo good in terms of boosting his form, but the ex-Roma winger can’t wait to return to Serie A.
In the contract he signed with Galatasaray a €35m release clause stands out, but that has not put off teams like Juventus, who have always held an interest in landing him even from his days in the capital.
Juve are expected to have to sell players to raise cash, and in the event that some bid names leave then Zaniolo could easily come back into fashion.
Then there is Milan, who need to resolve the futures of Rafael Leao, Charles De Ketelaere and Brahim Diaz. That is why the player’s entourage are anxiously awaiting signals from Italy.
The hasty separation from Roma was evidently motivated by the player’s desire to find a calm environment, but that €35m clause means it is likely that we will have wait until the end of the summer to see where Zaniolo might go.
There are better Italians for much much less
We are not seriously going to let those cheating persons-born-out-of-wedlock sign Zaniolo are we?
Can we just stop linked with this player ? Both of his leg already got ACL . Not only that but 35m euro transfer fee and salary 4-5m euro nett / season , If you want italian better sign baldanzi or orsolini not this overrated guy
