Napoli are going to have Piotr Zielinski available again for the match against AC Milan on Sunday evening, whilst Khvicha Kvaratskhelia could be used in an unfamiliar role which the Rossoneri need to adapt to.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), the Partenopei will be strengthened by the Polish midfielder returning from his injury.
He has been at the centre of a media storm recently as it seems he is set to leave the club on a free transfer at the end of the season, choosing to join Inter.
He has been injured but will be back to face Milan, as is the case for Matteo Politano who is an important attacker for Walter Mazzarri’s side.
Another important attacker is Kvaratskhelia, but he could be used in a central role directly behind the striker. It should be Giovanni Simeone leading the line, with Victor Osimhen at the Africa Cup of Nations with Nigeria.
Traditionally a left-winger, Kvaratskhelia will be difficult to track if he has a more central role as he is bound to drift wide as well. This means that the Milan defenders will have to make sure the responsibility of marking him is shared around.
