AC Milan will look to respond from the bitter disappointment of the dropped points against Bologna when they take on Frosinone tomorrow evening.
Milan were heading for a fifth win in a row in the league against Bologna on Saturday night at San Siro before an added-time penalty was converted by Riccardo Orsolini to ensure that the visiting side left with a share of the spoils.
This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below) confirms that Milan will be without Tommaso Pobega, Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori, Malick Thiaw, Mattia Caldara and Samuel Chukwueze will miss the game.
In terms of the starting line-up, Mike Maignan will obviously be in goal with an unchanged defensive line of Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer, Matteo Gabbia and Theo Hernandez.
The deeper-lying midfield duo of Yacine Adli and Tijjani Reijnders are expected to keep their place, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek playing a bit further forward as the attacking midfielder..
Christian Pulisic is down as the right winger, with Rafael Leao on the left side and Olivier Giroud leading the line.
Luka Jovic, Noah Okafor, Yunus Musah and Ismael Bennacer are listed among the substitutes who could come on during the game.
Please play simic over kjaer….
Does Giro have pictures of Pioli having an affair or something?
Lmao 🤣
Why change anything when we play like a sh*t, we take wins but our gameplay is sh*t for a long time
Let’s throw some of that same mud at the wall to see if it sticks this time….
Leao needs to perk up. his body language is a drag.
This lineup should play better.
The fact that Giru is leading our striking role is very annoying play Jovi or the young star
