AC Milan’s Primavera side got another win under their belt on Saturday at the PUMA House of Football as they came from behind to beat Bologna 4-1.
La Gazzetta dello Sport recall how overwhelming second half was enough for the Rossoneri, who were more than capable of recovering from a situation that seemed complicated after Menegazzo’s header from a corner.
At the start of the second half, it took less than a minute to restore the balance as Jan Carlo Simic’s header made it 1-1. His name will be familiar to those who don’t even follow the Primavera, as he started in preseason against Real Madrid.
Halfway through the second half, the advantage was obstained by the wild card Diego Sia, who did well to take advantage of a lovely assist from Zeroli to make it three goals in two rounds. He netted seven times last season too.
It was from here that Bologna lost control of the game, also suffering the impact of the substitutions made by Ignazio Abate. It was Vincenzo Perrucci who gained the satisfaction of his brace by coming off the bench.
His first was a header after an assist from Bonomi in the 78th minute, then in injury time he got his second following a knock-on from the excellent Simic.
Perrucci, an 18-year-old attacking midfielder, had torn his cruciate and meniscus just a year ago and only saw the pitch again in mid-August at the “Mamma e Papa Cairo” Memorial, later sharing all his joy via social media.
