West Ham United are the latest team to join the race for Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun who is thought to be on the market this summer, a report claims.
As has been reported by Get Football News Italian, there are many sides that want to sign Balogun who has been on loan at Stade Reims this season in Ligue 1.
Milan have been linked with him for many months but so have other Italian sides, as well as teams in the Premier League.
This news could tie into the fact that West Ham striker Gianluca Scamacca is expected to move away at the end of the season and Milan are one of the clubs he is being heavily linked with.
Should Milan decide that they value Scamacca over Balogun, seeing the American striker move to West Ham could be good news as it would unlock Scamacca’s departure from the Europa Conference League finalists.
I’d much prefer Scamacca. Italian with Serie A experience. Tall and strong. Ready to go whereas Balogun still seems like a diamond in the rough.
