The latest rendition of EA Sports’ headline game – EAFC24 (formerly known as FIFA) – has been out for roughly two months. As such, we looked at some of AC Milan’s past and present players’ Ultimate Team ratings.
The game has so far received rather mixed reviews from critics and players alike, but if you’re a fan of the series and in particular Ultimate Team, you should check out an FC24 coin shop.
Milan are well represented this year and boasts 31 ‘base’ level cards. However, this number should be 27. Alexis Saelemaekers, Divock Origi, Fode Ballo-Toure, and Lorenzo Colombo have Milan cards, though they are not at the club. Yet, these versions of the players are not found on the game’s market or in packs.
Although the name and look of the game have changed, EA has kept the way ratings work the same. Players are assigned their rating based on their previous season and are given a rating between 1 and 99 (though for base cards, they are between 47 and 91).
Milan’s rankings are led by Mike Maignan for the third year in a row, with him being 87-rated. He led alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Theo Hernandez, and Franck Kessie on FIFA 22 with a rating of 84, whilst last year he held the top spot to himself, with 87. With this rating, he is the fourth-highest-rated ‘keeper in the game (excluding special cards).
Milan’s second-highest is Rafael Leao, the Portuguese winger who had an excellent season in 2022-23, scoring 15 times in Serie A and assisting eight times. He started the game with an 86 rating but already has two special versions.
Milan’s next highest-rated is Theo Hernandez, who earned a rating of 85. The French left-back once again established as one of the best full-backs in the league, if not the world last season, and is fully deserving of his rating.
Milan’s next two entries are 84-rated: Ismael Bennacer and Fikayo Tomori. The pair were exceptional last season for the Diavolo, and their ratings reflect as such.

Alongside these base players, Milan can already boast some lovely special items.
Starting with Leao’s two aforementioned special editions. He has one in the ‘Headliners’ promotion and the other for winning the ‘Player of the Month in Serie A’ award – for his excellent start to the 2023-24 season – both cards are 87-rated.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek follows the winger in the special card rankings. He has an 87-rated Thunderstruck card. However, this card was only available through completing a now-expired objective.
Following on from these two is Fikayo Tomori, the English centre-back earned an 86-rated card in the ‘Centurions’ promotion, which was for players who have made 100 appearances for their club or more, a feat the former Chelsea man earned earlier this year.
Next is Theo Hernandez, who earned an 86-rated ‘Team Of The Week’ item for his performance and goal against Fiorentina.
Malick Thiaw features as an 85-rated card – through the game’s ‘Champions League Road To The Knock-outs’ promotion – should Milan progress into the round of 16 in the Champions League, this card will be upgraded.
Milan’s last special item is Olivier Giroud, who has an 84-rated card, but in the form of a goalkeeper. Which was awarded after his heroics against Genoa, where he kept a clean sheet. The Frenchman also has an 87-rated ‘Flash-back’ card. However, this was a Squad Building Challenge, so is no longer available.
FC24, like its predecessor games, also features ‘Icon’ and ‘Hero’ cards, the first for well-renowned legends of the sport, whereas the latter is league-specific.
Milan is again well represented with these cards. Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, and Paolo Maldini rank as the top three highest ‘Base Icon’ cards in the game. Van Basten, Baresi, and Kaka, amongst others, are also featured.
In terms of ‘Hero’ cards, Milan has three. Paulo Futre, Jean-Pierre Papin and also Rui Costa.
