Despite all the rumours surrounding a possible move to Barcelona it is in fact Spurs who lead the race to sign Franck Kessie, a report claims.
Kessie’s contract is now in its final few months and with nothing to suggest that he is close to renewing or that talks with Milan over extending his deal are progressing, it now seems likely that his time with the Rossoneri will end after what will be half a decade.
According to Sport (via MilanNews) Kessie’s future could be at Tottenham because it is the Premier League club that are in fact on pole for the Ivorian midfielder. Not only that, but they have already presented an offer to convince him to sign, in order to beat the competition.
There is interest from Spain to compete with because Barcelona are continuing to follow developments with interest, having also taken a liking to the 25-year-old.
