The agent of Penarol striker Agustin Alvarez has hinted that he spoke with AC Milan about a potential move to Italy in the future for his client.
It was reported by Daniele Longo on Twitter that a meeting in Milan between the management and Alvarez’s agent Edgardo Lasalvia was scheduled for December and then it was confirmed that it took place last month.
Lasalvia works for Equipo Talent Management Associates and represents some intriguing profiles, but it seems Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are very much forward-thinking. He looks after the interests of Alvarez of Penarol – who has 23 goals in 38 games this season – but also Benfica’s 22-year-old centre-forward Darwin Nunez.
Now, Lasalvia has spoken to SerieANews about what is happening with his client and he confirmed that he has already spoken with some Italian clubs.
“Agustín is on the radar of the largest clubs in Europe. He is the top goalscorer of the Copa Sudamericana and was born in 2001 with a big future. I can say that I have already spoken to some Italian clubs, I have met several of them and they have Álvarez’s name there on the table,” he said (via MilanLive).
either go for a great proven striker like scammaca or put faith on colombo both would work. vlahovic is now out of our reach as milan will not spend this much money, elliot will like the profile but its hard that they will sanction such deal so having scammaca or having colombo back at our disposal makes more sense.
Sometimes I don’t understand MILAN, our own young talent you allow them to go out on loan and then you go all out spending money on you g talents we don’t even know and they try and explain to us his statistics. Why not bring our feeders team doing well on loan back that are playing the same position with the like of young profile or we go buy established stars if they want to spend money.
