Olivier Giroud was spotted in the stands at the Emirates Stadium yesterday as Arsenal beat Liverpool 3-1 to get themselves back into the Premier League title race.
Of course, Giroud played for Arsenal from 2012 to 2018 and with a total haul of 105 goals in 253 appearances, winning three FA Cups and as many Community Shields.
He was welcomed back to north London as a guest of the Gunners despite having left them for rivals Chelsea, and he watched his old team secure a massive win.
A day prior, the Frenchman scored against Frosinone and assisted Matteo Gabbia for the 2-2 before Luka Jovic’s late winner, and he took advantage of the day of rest granted by coach Stefano Pioli to head to the game.
