Marco Nasti is currently on loan at Cosenza and he has found the back of the net four times for the Serie B side. And during his time training with AC Milan’s first team, he learned a lot from Olivier Giroud.
Nasti was the big star of the Primavera side and thus attracted interest from Serie B in the summer. In the end, Milan agreed to send him on Cosenza and after a slow start, the 19-year-old is starting to show his true self.
Speaking to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Nasti was asked about which player has meant the most to him at Milan. Given the experience and quality of Giuriud, it’s not surprising that the 19-year-old named the Frenchman.
From whom did you steal the most in training with the first team of Milan. And what?
“Definitely Giroud, a striker like me. I took with me the way he gets angry if he does the slightest thing wrong and in the next action, he does everything to not repeat the mistake. I understood that the difference with the greats is not the technique but the attitude, the temperament. Just see how they call the ball, it looks like bullshit but it makes the difference.”
Nasti is expected to get a new loan spell next season as he’s certainly not ready for Milan’s first team just yet. After one more loan, however, he might be and it will be interesting to follow his development.
This guy instead of origi would score more if he was with the first team and not on loan!
No. We would have been crying him down for scoring only one or two goals instead of getting Origi who can score “big game goals”. And then saying he needs to be loaned out which is exactly where he’s at now.
