AC Milan’s youth sector is producing some very interesting players, and the Under 17 side are one to keep an eye on for the future because they continue to smash records.
As the official website writes, the Rossoneri U17s just will not stop as they have broken record after record so far this season. The 2-0 home victory over Udinese recently – thanks to goals from Ossola and Batistini – closed out a brilliant first half of the season.
The numbers are quite staggered: 13 games, 13 wins, 39 points collected of the 39 available. Lorenzo Ossola is the top scorer in the entire league with 11 goals, and Christian Comotto isn’t far behind with eight.

The team are coached by Giovanni Renna, who spoke about the incredible start to the campaign: “It has been a wonderful start to the season, in more ways than just the results which are important in themselves.
“For us, it is important to support the development of the boys who will have the opportunity to move up to the Primavera and, in the future, to the First Team. I am and we are proud of the record in Italy obtained by finishing this first half of the campaign with only victories, a result that is owed to thorough and dedicated work.
“I want to thank the new Head Vincenzo Vergine who has allowed me to train this team. If we have made it this far, and we want to continue like this, it is because we have found the right way to express the way that the club asks us to support the player 100% for the good of the group.
“This means that our athletes are certainly growing on a technical and physical level, but also from the point of view of their character and personality, gaining a greater awareness of their abilities.”
The strength and determination of the whole team is striking. They are extremely solid at the back with only five goals conceded at the halfway point of the season, while they have the best attack with 44 goals.
From the flying start to the understanding gained in the last few matches to the landslide 4-0 victory over Inter at the PUMA House of Football: it has been a great journey so far.
The Rossoneri are the only team in all the Italian professional leagues to have finished the first half of the season with only victories, and the 13-game winning streak is a record to be proud of.
