AC Milan Women have continued their return to form by beating Sampdoria 2-1 on Saturday afternoon thanks to a double from Kosovare Asllani.
The Rossonere had a very poor start to this Serie A Femminile campaign as they were beaten 3-1 at home to Fiorentina on the opening day and then lost 2-0 away at AS Roma on the second matchday.
They have now won the following three games though having beaten Sassuolo 3-1, Parma 4-0 and then beating Sampdoria 2-1 at home today.
The scoring was opened in the third minute by the visitors as Sara Baldi found the back of the net. Milan soon equalised though through Kosovare Asllani who joined Maurizio Ganz’s side in the summer from Real Madrid. She scored in the seventh minute and continued to show why she is such an exciting signing for the whole division.
Shortly after the break, Asllani got her second of the game and that proved to be the winning goal for the Rossonere who have now moved up to fourth in the Serie A Femminile table.
