AC Milan will face Cagliari in the Coppa Italia Round of 16 tomorrow evening, but Yunus Musah and Noah Okafor will not be available. The two continued to work individually at Milanello today, as per a report.
Following the win against Sassuolo, Milan will be looking to gain further momentum with a win in the Coppa Italia tomorrow evening. There are still several injury absences to note, though, and Ismael Bennacer has already travelled to Algeria for the AFCON.
As reported by MilanNews, Musah and Okafor both trained individually at Milanello today and will thus not be available tomorrow. The midfielder’s goal is to be back against Empoli at the weekend, while the forward will have to wait longer for his comeback.
Musah’s return is especially important for Milan amid Bennacer’s absence for the next month or so, depending on how far Algeria gets in the tournament. Not to mention that the former Empoli man has been very important in the last few games.
Samuel Chukwueze has been granted a few more days with the Milan team, meaning he will be at Pioli’s disposal tomorrow. After the game, though, he will travel to Nigeria to join the AFCON preparations.
