There was an incredibly dangerous moment at San Siro last night as the Paris Saint-Germain ultras appeared to throw a beer barrel towards the AC Milan fans sitting below them.
As has been reported by Milan News, one of their editors was watching the 2-1 win against PSG from the third ring of the stadium.
At the end of the first half, there were some insults being thrown by both sets of fans, as well as spitting. Various drinks started to be thrown by the PSG fans, before an empty beer barrel was thrown down which could have caused really serious injury.
Fortunately, there are no reported injuries from the event which suggests many fans had already dispersed, but it could have been much worse.
How they got hold of the barrel remains unclear but Milan will need to find out to avoid a similar incident happening again in the future.
