Joshua Zirkzee is attracting the interest of a number of top teams around Europe including AC Milan, and they might just have an advantage in the race to sign him.
Milan will invest in a young striker in the summer and one of the names linked most insistently is Zirkzee, a Dutch striker who is impressing for Bologna.
He netted the opening goal in Saturday night’s game at San Siro between the Rossoneri and the Rossblu, something which could have been an audition of sorts.
Matteo Moretto spoke on the Twitch channel La Fiera del Calcio (via Radio Rossonera) to give his take on the Zirkzee situation, starting with the fact that he expects things to heat up in April.
Zirkzee is one of three profiles Milan have above all others in their hunt for a striker, while his sources claim there is a €40m release clause in his contract for all clubs and not only for Bayern Munich.
He does not think Bayern will try to re-sign him though, and while Zirkzee’s agent has very strong relationships with Arsenal, Manchester United and in general with England, the player would like to keep playing in Italy which perhaps gives the Rossoneri an edge.
A bit fabricated journalism, here…. He will be off to the premier league, for sure.
Man United and Arsenal will not challenge for the EPL anytime soon. Milan will challenge for Serie A next season.
Money talks and any player is going to go for the money regardless if they want to play in a specific country or club. Otherwise, if they really cared about the city, country, or club then Fiji would have the best league around!
LOL. And why wouldn’t Bayern just buy him back for 20M and flip him for 50-60M and make 30-40M profit?? Napoli will buy him when they sell Oshimen this summer.
