AC Milan are expected to complete the signing of Marcus Thuram in the coming days as they are ‘one step away’, according to a report.
According to the latest from Matteo Moretto of Relevo, Milan are now ‘one step away’ from signing Thuram on a free transfer to reinforce the attacking department ahead of the 2023-24 season.
The journalist claims that the Rossoneri already have a five-year contract ready for the striker to sign once he leaves Borussia Mönchengladbach at the end of the month.
The deal will see him earn a salary that will make him instantly one of the top earners in the Milan squad, and Moretto mentions that an acceleration ‘is expected in the next 48 hours’.
Thuram’s strengths include his dribbling, pace, strength and aerial ability, all of which have seen him net 44 goals and add 29 assists in 134 games for the Bundesliga side, with last season yielding 13 goals in the league.
Seal the deal then. Let’s go Furlani.
Won’t happen.
Yes, but that ‘one step’ is the player agreeing. Arguably that’s the only important step.
Always “one step away”.
