Yunus Musah has been left out of the squad for AC Milan’s clash against Monza tomorrow morning, as confirmed by several credible sources. The midfielder is struggling with fatigue and will not be at Stefano Pioli’s disposal.
Musah has played a lot recently and was replaced in the 83rd minute against Newcastle due to some muscle discomfort. It ended up being a successful sub for the Rossoneri, as his replacement Samuel Chukwueze scored the winner.
As reported by several sources this afternoon, including Daniele Longo, Musah has officially been left out of Milan’s squad for the game against Monza. It is scheduled for 12:30 CET tomorrow and the Rossoneri will be looking to bounce back with a win in the league.
Yacine Adli or Ismael Bennacer will replace the American from start, and it’s a battle that Stefano Pioli is yet to decide. The Algerian recently returned from injury and will be eager to make his first start since the comeback, but there must be some caution.
As for the rest of the XI, Davide Calabria is suspended and this means Davide Bartesaghi is set to make his first-ever start for Milan. He came off the bench against Newcastle and did well to help defend the lead.
Overworked. It’s a miracle Reijnders is still running around although his game has declined.
Reijnders runned about 12km in the Newcastle Match but he seemed tired in my eyes. I hope he get some Rest before we have another injury
He also played every game last season for Alkmaar.
Let’s play a game and guess which player gets injured next.
Come on @SempreMilan!
Points for guessing the right player, the type of injury, the game, or the training session.
Florenzi – Monza – Knee
Pioli over-using some players while leaving some to rot on the bench is part of the reason for numerous injuries.
To be fair, Pobega is hardly a good sub for RLC, Tijani, or even Musah.
However, he should learn to rotate better.
Especially now that we are in the Europa league
