AC Milan have bolstered their youth ranks with the signing of Mihajlo Rajakovac from Icelandic club Keflavík ÍF, it has been confirmed.
As Radio Rossonera are reporting, among others, Rajakovac has signed with Milan and a photo posted on social media (seen at the bottom of this article) seems to have confirmed it.
The Icelandic talent of Croatian origin – who is 15 years of age – has started training with the Rossoneri’s U17 team. The right winger has already made his debut too, and can considered another signing for the future.
So, who is Rajakovac? He is a flexible attacking winger capable of playing both on the right and left, as well as centre-forward if needed. His debut took place at the PUMA House of Football, with Milan beating Feralpisalò 2-1.
He had actually been with the youth sector since November and the official announcement was made by the Icelandic player himself through his Instagram profile, showing himself in the red and black shirt.
He will join Giovanni Renna’s record-breaking team who have a reocrd of 14 wins out of 15 games played this season, who extended their lead at the top yesterday thanks to the win against Feralpisalò and the simultaneous defeat of Inter away at Cagliari.
Rajakovac made his debut in the match against the team from the province of Brescia and his arrival confirms the RedBird ownership’s objective of continuing to invest in the youth sector, especially with Vincenzo Vergine having been poached from Roma.
