Noah Okafor offered a comment on how he is finding life in Serie A so far after his arrival at AC Milan, and also responded to the suggestions that he could soon reunite with Benjamin Sesko.
The 24-year-old has so far made a good impact at Milan in the minutes that he has had, scoring four goals in Serie A and adding an assist in the Champions League.
He joined from Red Bull Salzburg in the summer and has been disrupted a bit by some injury difficulties, but now he is back and available to contribute in the decisive part of the season.
Okafor was present on the red carpet at the AC Milan x PUMA x Pleasures event tonight to launch the new fourth kit, and he spoke to the reporters present including our own.
Are you happy with your first season at Milan?
“Yeah, yeah of course. I think the first six months of the season were very good. I was in the start a little bit unlucky with my injury but now I’m really fit and I’m looking forward to seeing the pitch soon.
“My season? I think good. Quite a few times when I was playing I scored goals but I have to look ahead, train hard every day and then see on the pitch.”
Milan like Sesko. You played with him at Salzburg, what do you think of him and would you like to play with him again?
“This I don’t know… what is in the media. I know him very well but at the moment he’s a Leipzig player, and at the moment I won’t say anything else.”
What do you think about the chances of winning the Scudetto?
“A difficult question. I think we have quality in the team, but we have to see game by game and then we will see in the end.”
