Ahead of tonight’s clash between AC Milan and Juventus, which will kick off in less than 30 minutes, Noah Okafor spoke to the media about what the Rossoneri will need to do to win.
Milan will be looking to reclaim first place this evening as Inter managed to beat Torino last night. However, Juventus are also keen on clinching all three points tonight as it would bring them within a point of the Rossoneri.
Speaking to DAZN, as cited by MilanNews, Okafor shared his thoughts on the big game and what the Rossoneri will need to do. The Swiss international is on the bench but will likely make an appearance in the second half.
On the game…
“We will have to stay calm and play our game. I think we will have our chances. We have to be cynical and try to score as many goals as possible. That’s why we have to stay calm and concentrated, the game is long and we have time,” he stated.
On the break…
“We trained a lot during the break, it’s good when you can train a lot with the team, I think we’re in good shape and we’re happy that Serie A is back.”
Okafor will likely be the deputy for Rafael Leoa moving forward as Stefano Pioli is hoping to use Luka Jovic as the No.9 more regularly. Having said that, the former Salzburg man’s versatility could come in handy.
