AC Milan continued their Napoli preparations at Milanello today and Malick Thiaw, after being sidelined for over two months, returned to group training. Great news for the Rossoneri, although he won’t be ready for Sunday.
Milan will be looking to extend their unbeaten run in the league on Sunday, able to make it nine consecutive games as Napoli will visit San Siro. Stefano Pioli will continue to rely on Simon Kjaer and Matteo Gabbia at the back, but soon he will be blessed with another option.
As was confirmed earlier today, Thiaw participated in the first part of the group training and could perhaps be back against Monza next week. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was also present during the training session, watching over the boys.
Below, you can take a look at some photos from the training. It’s indeed a huge boost to have Thiaw back in action, and Fikayo Tomori should hopefully be back soon as well.
Good news
