Ahead of the game between AC Milan and Salernitana at Stadio Arechi, Christian Pulisic shared his thoughts with the media. The American stated that tonight’s game won’t be easy, and that the Rossoneri must build on the positive form.
Including the win at Newcastle, Milan have won their last two games and will be looking to make it three tonight. The performance against Monza was convincing and another one is needed tonight, especially with Christmas celebrations up next.
Speaking to MilanTV, as broadcasted on Milan’s YouTube channel, Pulisic shared his thoughts on the task at hand and stated that Milan need to continue to win games. He also explained that he feels ‘great’ personally, happy to help out with goals and assists.
On the game…
“I think it will be a difficult match for sure, it’s never easy when you go away from home. We are up against a team that will be fighting for a result, so we have to give everything today. I’m looking forward to an exciting match.”
On the recent confidence boost…
“It always helps when you have good results from your last games and we need to take that confidence and energy and put it into these next few matches.”
On his form…
“I feel great, for me it’s important to help the team with these things, scoring goals and getting assists. For me, it’s all about the results and we need to continue to win big games.”
Pulisic will start on the right flank once again tonight, having played some games on the left in Rafael Leao’s absence. Most would agree that he has done better on the right and he could play a key role tonight (read the key battles here).
