The area of San Donato is determined to secure the new AC Milan stadium and various promises are being made to further their case, a report claims.
As explained by La Repubblica (via Milan News), the area of San Donato is the current favourite to house a new stadium for Milan and one of the main focuses is transport.
They intend to create a rail shuttle which will see trains go from the stadium area to and from the centre of Milan every 15 minutes. This will be popular given San Donato is further from the centre of Milan than San Siro.
There are also plans being made to create at least two new exits and entries to the south of the motorway near the stadium, helping those who are travelling to games by car.
There is likely to be more detail about what Milan want from a new stadium in September.
We need it the most! One of the best team in the world yet doesn’t have stadium in 21st century. But, as it said: better late than never.
