Paris Saint-Germain have still not given up on trying to persuade Marcus Thuram to join and Inter are also back in the running, according to a report.
According to RMC Sport, PSG are still targeting Thuram who will be out of contract at Borussia Mönchengladbach at the end up the month, with Wilfried Zaha of Crystal Palace – also on an expiring deal – behind him on the list.
Thuram wondered about the project in the French capital which was still not very clear despite the arrival of Luis Enrique. Julian Nagelsmann wanted the Frenchman and made contact with the player’s camp personally.
However, the German coach will ultimately not join PSG this summer but this does not alter the fact that they want to sign Thuram.
There is still big competition to overcome though. RB Leipzig want the 25-year-old to replace Christopher Nkunku, while Milan have been in the runing for some time now, and Inter have also recently resumed talks amid rumours that Edin Dzeko will leave.
