The new stadium project continues for AC Milan with the intention of breaking ground as quickly as possibly, and a board meeting has been called regarding a key detail.
Radio Rossonera reported earlier today that a key signature should soon arrive from the Council of San Donato and the Lombardy Region, and now they have provided more information on their website.
The Milan leadership called a Board of Directors meeting today to approve the acquisition of the land in the San Francesco part of the region of San Donato Milanese, the area in which Milan wants to build its new stadium.
The purchase of the deeds should take place in the next few weeks, only and exclusively after having received the approval of the club’s Board of Directors given that it requires an investment.
It is the first of three full days of events related to the stadium which will end on Thursday with the Council’s signature on the resolution for the urban planning variant to the project.
That is the first concrete and decisive step to definitively start the process which will then continue with the approval of the City Council and the working table with the Lombardy Region for the program agreement.
Hopefully after more than a decade this finally happens.
Also EUROPEAN SUPER LEAGE here we go news that 20 clubs have agreed to join this summer with another 15 in the wings with the potential of more to come.
Could possibly be the biggest and best news not just for milan but football as a whole.
About the super league, I wish others would see its greed vs greed and it’s all about the clubs greed versus the governing bodies greed. UEFA is corrupt AF and people overlook that.
I don’t know what I feel about the Super League but I know I don’t like UEFA.
Interesting 🤔 looks like some actual progress is being made. Hmm 🤔
I’m sure you’ll find a way to spin it negatively. You hate on Milan harder than an Interista
He doesn’t hate Milan. He just has a different opinion on what can take us to the highest level. Instead of licking the ownerships boots he critically thinks about the situation Milan are in.
Bootlickers are the worst.
About time. This is the way to financial independence. Good work Mayor Beppe on helping us out of a crappy situation!
