Sky Germany: Thuram has rejected RB Leipzig with Milan move on the cards

By Oliver Fisher -

Marcus Thuram is getting closer to joining AC Milan having rejected the advances of RB Leipzig, according to a report.

According to what is being reported by Philipp Hinze of Sky Germany, Thuram is now moving closer to joining Milan after rejecting RB Leipzig’s bid to try and keep him in the Bundesliga.

He confirms that the Frenchman has ‘turned down’ the Red Bull Club and that Paris Saint-Germain have also already pulled out of the race to sign him when he leaves Borussia Mönchengladbach on a free transfer.

This means that Thuram will ‘most likely move to Milan’ and while there will not be a transfer fee involved given that it is a Bosman, there will be a ‘big signing fee’.

In the last season, Thuram found the back of the net 16 times and assisted an additional seven goals, with the Rossoneri management clearly seeing him as the ideal compliment to Olivier Giroud.

  2. I bet the “real fans” of Milan are hoping this won’t happen so they can continue bashing every action the club takes.

    1. Lol the DOOM PROPHETS lol…they aren’t real fans though. They want this club to be run by PSG which isn’t how we do things, we never had a countries money to spend like Newcastle or Man City, but we’ve always made it work, and that’s why Rui Costa is still out most expensive signing of all time.

      1. They’re too busy yelling their “feeder club”-proganda and crying their panties wet. And they’ll attack anyone who doesn’t agree. 😀

      2. Wkwkwkwk thats martin dream . He keeps delusional and dreaming kingdom or state from middle east come to take over AC Milan and splash money like PSG . Im tired reply that kid comment. Gonna skip read whatever he comment

    2. They cry cuz there’s no money and players leave for free. Now they cry cuz players are sold and there’s money. Cough cough Milano…

      1. Yes. Apparently there is NOTHING in between those two options… From “unable to sell” to “feeder club” in 0.1 seconds before the mercato is even opened.

  3. See Sandro’s sale is actually bringing us the depth we need. We might have lost a good player but we will be gaining a lot more from this. Not all is doom and gloom. I like to compare fan bases, Man Utd fanbase is toxic, Chelsea fan base is racist and our fan base outside of Italy are a bunch of doom prophets. 😂

    1. So, all the Milan legends are doom prophets eh? lmfao Milan fans are passionate AF. We are used to winning and we want to see the club WIN. lol it’s Just a few of the fans in here are too dumb to see the downfall of what Milan is. That’s about it. BTW.. only dumb ones try comparing and stereotyping fan bases lol All fans are the same. They are there for the LOVE of their club. Period. 😛

      1. “They are there for the LOVE of their club.”

Oh yes, I’m really feeling the loving atmosphere here. Lots of loving fans gathered here and showing their love for the club. You can find it beneath the 99.9% posts filled with hate, name-calling etc.

Fans are going to argue anyway about different opinions. In the end, Milan fans will support Milan no matter what when the season starts. Supporting Milan, and supporting a dip$hit owner who hasn’t done anything to imply ambition except leeching off of Milan are two very different things. Some are having a hard time to grasp that and supporting the owner instead of MILAN.

      2. We are used to winning ? Winning what ? 1 scudetto in 10 years ? Or supercoppa with montella ? To win champion league you need big money to build squad depth & starter. Where is that money coming from ? We dont have stadium , low revenue from tv rights and sponsor compare to EPL .Dont be like martin here that keep living in delusional with billionaire from middleeast and dreaming signing superstar like PSG , in reality only businessman from chinese or american want to buy italian club

        1. probably you are supporting Milan from 2013.. so I understand your point.. But some here are supporting Milan since 1987. Just saying! I witnessed Milan lifting 5 UCLs.

Till Cardinale.. every owner we had, at least had passion for the club and the sport, and at least did something to show the ambition instead of turning Milan into a feeder club just to make money.. Li, Elliot included. Li made some colossal wrong decisions by employing two a$sholes as directors and paid horrendously but he At least bought Milan because he was a diehard Milan fan and made 200mil budget available to reinforce teh squad. A competent SD would’ve built a competent team but.. we had Fasobelli.

Upto this point.. Cardinale is the worst in entire Milan history. hard to swallow, but it’s true. No one is expecting to spend 300 mil in a season. Having and showing some ambition to WIN can’t hurt THAT MUCH for an owner, can it?

Why did we need to vacate our Midfield and and potentially LB to enforce other areas when we already have enough to do so from the last season’s winnings? Why did we need to sell the best players when we could’ve easily sold Tomori as he had plenty of suitors in EPL? Instead of blindly supporting a dip$hit owner who doesn’t care about football, I support MILAN and criticize bad decisions.

According to your logic, we need starters to win UCL and Scudetto right? and to do so Cardinale is selling all our best Starters only to replace them with what exactly? lol Stop supporting Cardinale and support Milan.
